Salles Curan, a green resort in Aveyron
Our village, Salles Curan, is located in the heart of Aveyron, near Lake Pareloup in Aveyron, the largest lake in southern France. We are on the Plateau Lévézou at an altitude between 800 and 1100 metres.
Salles-Curan is the former summer residence of the bishops of Rodez. The village is thus rich in remarkable buildings such as the bishops' castle, the collegiate church and the gentleman's attic. Signs are posted in the village to guide your visit and a map can be provided on request at the Tourist Office.
A number of circular walks are available for exploring the area, such as "Lake Pareloup: Our Lady of the Lakes".
Markets and fairs
Saturday morning ( "traditional" market). Tuesday evenings in July and August, evening Market from 18.00 to 22.00. Local produce, “traditional” traders and craftsmen.
The fair takes place in the centre of the village on the first Saturday of every month.

Lake Pareloup, mountains and lakes of Lévézou
